What Makes Adam the Best Choice

⭐ 1. Deep Community Roots

Born at Carson Tahoe and educated in the Carson City School District—from Seeliger Elementary through Eagle Valley Middle School and graduating as a Millennium Scholar from Carson High—paired with my experience as a student teller at Greater Nevada Credit Union and over 500 hours volunteering in the Emergency Department during high school, I have developed a deep appreciation for the experiences within our local public schools, the opportunities it has provided, and the connections that unite our community.

⭐ 2. Parent Perspective

Having children currently enrolled in district schools provides a unique perspective on the daily challenges and experiences faced by students, teachers, administrators, and families. No one understands the importance of quality education and access to resources better than a parent. I have personally witnessed the talent, dedication, and expertise of our teachers, as well as identified areas with opportunities for improvement.

⭐ 3. Professional Experience Relevant to the District

A background in areas such as education, healthcare, administration, and public service showcase my experience with intricate systems and collaboration. As a senior executive, I possess experience in strategic planning, budgeting, and navigating challenging decisions, always prioritizing our core constituents: the students, our families, and the teachers.

⭐ 4. Commitment to Transparency & Accessibility

I am committed to prioritizing openness, communication, and approachability, as I believe these qualities are essential for building trust within our community. I recognize that parents want their and their children’s voices to be heard and seek transparency in the decision-making processes that impact their families. I will collaborate closely with our teachers, offering them the support and resources they need to excel.

⭐ 5. Involvement in Local Organizations

Participation in youth sports, volunteer programs, church communities, and professional boards demonstrates my strong commitment and deep-rooted involvement within the community, a driver that made me run – meeting you.

⭐ 6. Practical, Problem‑Solving Mindset

I promise to prioritize practical, common-sense approaches to district challenges, emphasizing the execution of solutions over mere discussion. While tough decisions lie ahead, strong leadership, collaboration, and a focused mindset will ensure we can bring our initiatives across the finish line.
